Fall Safety
Climbing, exploring, and everyday tumbles mean falls are especially common in young children, often under age three. Unintentional falls are a leading cause of nonfatal injury for children, and many serious falls happen at home.
Playground falls are common and important to address separately. See playground safety for surfacing, supervision, and age-appropriate equipment.
